School Supply Shopping! (a.k.a. what a nightmare)

 All excited in the car before getting out at Wal-Mart this morning....

 And then we're home with all his stuff (except the clorox wipes I forgot...  long story...)

Long Story Short : Children were absolute monstrous beasts while shopping for school supplies for approximately 25 minutes at Wal-Mart this morning.  You'd have thought I was torturing them...  making them shop for my own clothes, or something....  It was horrendous.  And I'm not even finished because I forgot the giant tubs of wipes because by the time we got to that aisle I was about to harm them or just leave them there and walk out alone....  Never should have taken them both.  

Working at the Pond!

Yesterday morning before lunch and swimming we took a gator ride around and pulled down some grape vines that were over-taking the trees.  The boys had lots and lots of fun :)

 Then we checked out the garden for a while...

 And then the boys decided the dirt hill looked fun....

Garbage Dump!

This afternoon my friend from school, Jeni, emailed to ask if the boys & I wanted to go on a "field trip" to the Wauwatosa Garbage Dump a friend of her's had set up.  I said Sure!  We were there for about half an hour, it was SUPER hot outside, especially standing on the blacktop of the parking lots by the trucks.  But they boys had fun.  They got to see a few different garbage trucks & dump trucks and got a turn to climb inside and be pretend drivers.  There were maybe 8 other kids there, so it was a good size group.

Adventure Time!

This afternoon after the boys woke up from their naps they went over to G.G. & Cappy's house to have an adventure!  

2 hours later I got this picture emailed to me.....  They went to the Lake Front!  

I hope they are being very good and all having lots of fun :)

Sunday Morning Hike!

Last week Jeff & Jack took a walk/bike ride over towards the river & Lime Kiln Park and since then Jack has been wanting to go back and hike along the river paths.  This morning it wasn't too hot out early so we drove over and parked behind Dairy Queen and started out adventure!  Jack called it "exploring".  The boys both had lots of fun, and it tired them out for nice long naps after lunch :)

Racine County Fair!

On Friday morning we went to the Racine County Fair with Grandma & Grandpa, Chase and Jillian.  We saw LOTS of tractors and farm animals.  Jack had lots of fun, Jayden wasn't feeling well so he just sat in the stroller and watched everything very quietly - poor boy :(
