Swimming!

Wednesday we went down to the pond for some swimming.  It was hot - I think it got up to 90*, but there was a breeze, and it didn't feel too bad, especially in the 76* water!  The boys had a great time playing with Chase & Jillian.

Brave!

I took Jack to see the new Pixar movie, Brave, on Sunday afternoon.  It was really good!  Jack watched the previews and the new Pixar short "LaLuna" and then about 15 minutes into the actual movie he fell asleep on my lap - so we just cuddled for the rest :)

Painting Fun!

This afternoon while Jayden was napping Jack and I did some painting in the backyard.  

We were making foot print tractors !!!

 After the foot print, while I was finishing that picture up, Jack painted this old door, and then he started doing his very own hand print pictures - all by himself!!!  It was the cutest thing ever :)

 He made this picture for him new friend Henry.

 Our tractor foot turned out wonderful, I think Grandma & Grandpa at the pond are going to love it :)

New Friends!

This morning someone I work with at school, Jeni, came over with her son Henry to play and have lunch.  Henry is 2 1/2 and the boys played really nice together - for the most part!  

Henry brought a really cool John Deere Digger toy - Jack loved it :)  

The weather was beautiful - warm enough in the shaded back yard, but not too hot.

 They play in the sand with the diggers lots!

 And the swings - we found a way to swing two kids at once :)

Zoo Morning!

Monday morning is was cool(er) and sunny, so we went to the zoo!  The boys were good and we had lots of fun, a train ride, and a quick lunch :)

Jack, the Grill Master!

Jack is very excited to grill this year!  

He kept asking and asking when it was time to make the burgers for dinner tonight...  and then he was an excellent helper :)

 and he ate his all up!!!  they were YUMMY :)

Toddler Bed!

We converted Jayden's crib to a toddler bed this morning.  

For his birthday we got him a set of sheets, comforter & a pillow.  

He seemed very excited when we showed the bed to him 

(he won't get the new stuff until his actual birthday in a few weeks!)
