More Fall Crafts!

What a beautiful Saturday it has been!  And we have been very busy outside all day :)

 Jack did really well painting the leaves all by himself

 Our finished prints!  They are beautiful!

 This morning I painted the boys feet to make a candy corn picture for Halloween, they turned out really cute.  And Jayden laughed the whole time I was painting his feet because it tickled!

While I was doing my grocery shopping this morning Daddy took the boys to the park to get some pretty leaves for all our crafts, and they made these sun catchers!

Fall Crafts

Jack & I just did some fall crafts while Jayden was napping.  

We made 3 peanut butter & bird seed pine cone feeders to hang in the trees outside 

and a leaf tree with leaves we found in the yard.

Fall Day at the Pond!

 Today we went down to Grandma & Grandpa's house to run around outside for a while.  It was cool and breezy (especially in the morning) but we still had lots of fun.

 He's running after those big kids as fast as he can go!!

 We sat around a campfire for a while in the morning, it felt very nice, while they kids ran around and played on the swings and hide-and-go-seek.

 After picking pumpkins, gourds, squash and tomatoes!

 After lunch we walked across the street to see the neighbors goats and horses.  The boys loved feeding the horses grass and petting them!

We had a fun, busy day - and only Jack napped for a little while on the drive home - so hopefully it'll be an early bedtime tonight.

Al's Run & Walk 2012

Al's Run & Walk is over for another year!  

We raised $830 this year, bringing our 6 year total to $4,070.00 !!!!  

Thanks to everyone who has supported this cause with us over the years :)  

It means a lot.

 6:15am, boys are all set to go - for some reason they decided to wake up REALLY early (5:15).

 We stood and watched the band for a while - I think it put Jayden in a trance......

 Jack fell asleep mid walk and woke up just as we passed the finish line.  He needed a rest at some point today after being up so early and this was the best time to do it.

 We made it to the finish!  

(And the shirt design turned out awesome - check out those stars!  Nice job Katie)

 Lunch time - this year's was chicken salad, pasta salad, grapes, and desserts.

The boys mostly ate cookies, chocolate covered raisins and fruit snacks for lunch......  

They were very well behaved all morning though.

Jack's 1st Packer Day at school!

Yesterday morning we made a handprint flower pot for Jack to give Mrs. Skalla and Jayden to give Mrs. M. to thank them for a great start to the school year :)

They are really cute - I'll have to have them make me one sometime too!

Jack's First Day of School!!!

Jack had a great first day of 4K!  He got up and ready in the morning with no troubles & played with some stickers before leaving - always fun :)

 New backpack, new shirt...  he's all set!

I dropped him off at the door with the teacher aides, said good-bye, and he walked right in to Mrs. Skalla's line!  He said he had a great day.  He made a block tower, had cheese and chips for snack time, played outside, and made lots of new friends (but forgot their names)!  And he walked to Mrs. M's house great after school :)

I've been waiting for the first day for so long, I almost forgot we have to do it again tomorrow....  :)
