B'Haven Fall Visit!

Last weekend we went up to the B'Haven Lodge! We left home Friday morning and came home around lunch time on Sunday. We had a fun 2 days! And the weather was perfect for fall :)

The boys on our arrival... I was trying to get a good christmas picture... but they wouldn't not both look up and smile while standing in the correct spot, at the same time. Oh well.

We got up there a few hours before Grandma & Grandpa since we wanted to leave home earlier in the day. The boys were good on the drive and then we played outside all afternoon. Daddy decided to chop some wood for a campfire.

Jayden found the sand table stashed away under the partially demolished deck! The boys had lots of fun playing in it all weekend.

Jayden is getting more comfortable around Hershey lately. At least he doesn't burst into uncontrolable tears if the dog looks at him!

On Saturday we spent most of the day outside. Daddy & Grandma and Grandpa were cleaning up the boat in the garage. The boys enjoyed sweeping pine needles off the driveway.

On Saturday afternoon Grandma & Grandpa took the boys to the nearby zoo. They saw lots of animals and baby tigers!

Saturday night Jack crashed on the couch with Grandma. He had a very busy day (& no nap!).

Before leaving on Sunday morning Grandma helped Jack make a log cabin with the new Lincoln Logs.

We had a nice drive home Sunday morning and enjoyed a quiet evening because everyone was so exhausted!

Smartie-Marties!

I never saw Jayden eat anything up as fast as he ate this pack of Smarties, which he sneakily stole out of Jack's trick-or-treat pumpkin--who took them from my trick-or-treat pumpkin! He scarfed those things down in about 2 seconds, he was shoving them in with both hands!(He didn't want Jack to see what he had and try to take any...)

Sunday Morning Cleaning!

In order to prepare for the onslaught of Christmas things.... decor, gifts, etc..... the boys and I spent Sunday morning going through all the toys. We put parts and pieces back together and took all the "baby" stuff that doesn't get used anymore away for a future rummage sale, and all the broken stuff in the garbage.

The basement looks so much nicer now.

...except for my computer room - which is being used to house all the stuff waiting to be sold/discarded, and unfortunately that won't be happening until spring. I did manage to get all the smaller stuff into the closet, at least.

Beautiful Saturday!

Yesterday was a beautiful day outside. Jack was outside bright & early to help daddy clean up the garage and get ready for winter :( BOO!!

The boys & I also had play group in the morning for an hour. I was unsure about taking them earlier in the morning because they were coughing a lot. But by the time we were getting ready to leave they were doing good and I wanted to get them out of the house a bit to play, since they weren't at daycare for the past week. They boys played nice and had lots of fun with all the toys! (And only coughed a little bit)

When we got home we were back outside working on the yard and garage!

The boys helped daddy get the fire ready to burn sticks and some leaves. Jack had lots of fun throwing stuff into the fire.

And after lunch Jack helped daddy get the snowblower ready.............

Day Off!

On Friday I had off school. The boys & I did lots of fun things... we went grovery shopping and got M&M's because everyone behaved.... we made cookies (Jack did most of the work!)

We took a chilly walk around the neighborhood and then came to in watch Tangled and play Clipos to warm up before lunch.... this is the garbage truck I made for Jack! It was pretty amazing :)
After lunch it had warmed up a bit so we went back outside to play in the leaves. Unfortunately the boys wanted to play with trucks in the leaves on the driveway... so when Jayden tripped in his boots he fell on the concrete and scratched his face all up :( poor boy.

He cried a lot, but it only bled a little bit.

Fun Mornings!

This week Monday and Wednesday Grandpa & Grandma S. came up to watch the boys while I was at school.

Jack was very excited to have them over! The boys played nice and had lots of fun, even though they both have head colds :(

Jack the baker!

This morning the boys went over to G&G B's while I was at school. Jack helped Grandma make Halloween cupcakes! He was so proud. And they were delicious!!!!

So Tired!

Jayden has not been feeling well the past few days. He has a cold - runny nose, cough, among other symptoms..... Yesterday afternoon he only took a VERY short nap even though he was very tired all afternoon :( Later in the evening he was watching Tangle with me and he sat perfectly still on my lap for about 45 minutes! He would have falled asleep I think, except the Jack & Daddy came in from working outside and that got Jayden up and moving around. But when I left the room to put Jack to bed he just sat down on the floor, wouldn't let daddy touch him, and he fell asleep. I couldn't even get him awake to take his bedtime bottle. Unfortunately then he did not sleep well after about midnight... but oh well. Doesn't he look sweet?

Fall Stollenwerk Family Pics '11

Yesterday we went down to the pond to take our annual family pictures. It was a windy day, but at least it was sunny, and not too cold. We got lots of nice pictures, and the boys were agreeable enough.....

After all the picture-taking we had a nice lunch and then the boys had lots of fun playing in the field on the go-cart & gator.

Megan & I made Halloween houses (Megan's is the good looking one on the right!) And bummer :( I forgot my house in the lodge when we left.
