January 11th, 2012 51*

Today when I picked the boys up at daycare they were playing outside and then they stayed outside when we got home for about 25 minutes. It is soooooo very nice outside :) Too bad it's all over soon. I don't complain though.

January 10th, 2012 50*

Feels like early March... or April in Wisconsin. But I'm pretty sure it's still January. Jack and I had lots of fun playing outside for an hour this afternoon while Jayden was napping. We got down the scooter to practice, and some trucks, we raked leaves (which I can honestly say I have never before done in mid-January!) I even cleaned out and organized the outside toy box! It was so nice to be outside playing in sweatshirts :)

Tinker Things!

I love it when Jack says "Can I play with those tinker-things?" He means Tinker Toys!

The past few days him & Jayden have had lots of fun building with them. Here Jack was making a garden of flowers and tomato plants :) He is so creative!

I just did them myself in the kitchen... and with some cropping on walgreens.com hopefully they look half-way decent. I just ordered 1 8x10 and a bunch of wallets to give family of the 3 best shots..... you'll have to wait to see what those were!

Friday Night

Last night while out doing errands at Target Jack spent the money he has saved over the past few weeks - He had $1.71. He chose to buy a wooden toy airplace from the $1 section and a box of Junior Mints at the checkout. Jack was a VERY good boy all week at Miss Leanne's, which is why I let him spend his money.

After our errands a quick dinner we took Jayden to get his 18 months pics takes at Penneys. It did not go well. He just crawled on me the whole time and we left with nothing :( But didn't he look cute before leaving in his nice outfit! I'm not going to try again, he is just too clingy lately. I'll try to take a nice picture of him at home sometime this week and makes a few wallets of it.

Jayden has been using a spoon a little bit lately. Maybe he's a little late on that, but they kid doesn't eat much, so I have limited opportunities...... He was eating his yogurt at breakfast yesterday and seemed to like the spoon experience!

Blankie!

Yesterday Jack and I went to JoAnn's to get some blankie binding - he picked out a nice "fancy" blue (it starts white and gradually becomes a darker blue - it goes well with his very faded blue blankie). This afternoon while Jack was sleeping I put it on, and it turned out really well!

New Year's Day Snow!

Daddy got Jack an Aaron Rodgers jersey when we were at Kohl's earlier this week and he wore it for the first time today!

B'Haven "New Year"!

We went up to the B'Haven lodge for two nights this week Thursday- Saturday to enjoy some time in the snow!

Both boys got sick while we were there, but they still had fun outside.

We were able to try out our new sled for the first time this year!

The first afternoon after coming in from outside Jack was worn out and fell asleep on the couch while watching a movie. Unfortunately ,he woke up with a fever and was very tired and a little cranky for the rest of our trip.

Grandma & Grandpa got a new toy for the B'Haven! Theses really cool foam-wood blocks. The boys had lots of fun stacking them up and knocking them down.

All set to go out in the snow!

On Friday morning we took a little hike through the woods with Grandpa & Hershey.

Jayden walked a little towards the end of our hike - he loved being in the snow.

It looks like he fell down - but he kept laying down like that to play in the snow with his hands better! He loved it :) And it was hard for him to bend over in his snowsuit.

After out hike we came in for some lunch and play time!

Friday night after we came in from playing on the ice Jayden took a little nap with me on the couch but then soon after he woke up, he started thowing up... which continued until the next morning :( Poor guy. He felt awful. Here he is sitting with some juice and small snack & a towel!

We had lots of fun for our two days at the B'Haven. It was nice for the boys to be able to get out into some snow and play for a while! They had lots of fun. It was too bad they both got sick, but fortunately they are pretty much all better now.

Jayden on the car ride home - covered in garbage bags to protect his clothes, car seat, car, me, etc. Luckily the protection was unnecessary. We made it home incident-free. Jayden cried for the first hour, then he started to fall asleep, but decided he was hungry instead. He had some peanut butter crackers and then felt much better the rest of the drive. When we got home he took a nice long nap!
