Yesterday Jack and I ventured out to Bayshore Mall to pick up my Nook. (I had it on hold there after two closer stores were out of them)
This may not seem like much of an adventure - but we usually stay pretty close to home. The North Shore area is "out there" for us!
Our trip went really well. We were gone about an hour. To make it even more exciting, I thought the mall was off of Good Hope rather than Silver Spring, so when I got to Port Washington Rd. and found I was at Cardinal Stritch instead of the mall - that was a little surprising for a second. But I soon found my way south a bit. And this actually worked to my advantage because by entering the mall from the north end we were closer to Barnes & Noble!
Another exciting part - parallel parking on the street and using a parking meter! WOW!
We were only in the store for a few minutes and as Jack was a little hard to keep right next to me and Jayden was home sleeping we didn't stay to explore much else, which is too bad.
I like Bayshore! I wish it were closer.
On the way home Jack fell asleep
(which was strange - it wasn't that long of a drive and it was 10am!)
